It's Not Always a Confidence Problem.
Most women can remember a moment that made them feel small, question their abilities, or regret speaking up.
Maybe your boss dismissed you in front of your team. Maybe someone took credit for your work. Or maybe you were told you were being too aggressive when you were simply standing up for yourself.
Experiences like these can stick with us.
You might start choosing your words more carefully, avoiding difficult conversations, or passing up opportunities because you don't want to experience that same reaction again.
And sometimes, being cautious is justified. There can be real consequences for speaking up.
But there's a difference between making a thoughtful decision and automatically holding yourself back because of something that happened in the past.
That's what we'll work on during Own the Moment.
You'll identify one experience that changed how you respond, recognize where it may still be influencing you, and practice handling a current situation differently.
What You'll Take Away From This Challenge
By the end of these four days, you'll have:

Meet Stephanie Chung

Today, she's an internationally recognized keynote speaker and author of Ally Leadership: How to Lead People Who Are Not Like You.
During this challenge, Stephanie will share practical lessons from her executive experience to help you approach the situations you're facing.
Have You Ever Experienced Something Like This?
You were dismissed in a meeting.
Now you think twice before sharing your ideas, even when you have something valuable to contribute.
You were criticized for being too direct.
Now you soften your opinions or apologize before making reasonable requests.
Someone took credit for your work.
You wanted to address it, but worried about being labeled difficult.
You had a bad experience asking for an opportunity.
Now you hesitate to ask for a promotion, a raise, or more responsibility.
If any of these sound familiar, this challenge is for you.
You don't need an executive title. You just need to be willing to recognize an old pattern and try something different.
